The Believers Confession.

The Believers Confession.

Thanks unto the Father which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of saints in light.
Who hath delivered me from the power of darkness and has translated me into the Kingdom of his dear Son.
In whom I have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.
I am filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.
I work worthy of the Lord in all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work;  and increasing in the knowledge of God.
The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father Of glory has given unto me the spirit of wisdom & revelation in the knowledge of him.
The eyes of my understanding is enlightened;
I know what is the hope of his calling and what riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
I am strengthened with might by his Spirit  in the inner man.
Christ dwell in my heart by faith. I’m  rooted and grounded in love.
I’m able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, length, depth & height of his love.
I know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge.
I am filled with all the fullness of God.
I am blessed!
The Character of the Father.

The Character of the Father.

The character of the Father revealed in Christ Jesus.

In time past, the devil succeeded in confusing many has regards the character of the Father but no longer! We have better understanding. We see through the lens of Christ. I have been taught so I can teach others.

I read scriptures like:

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Job 1:21 (b) the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.

and so many other bewildering, inconsistent statements about the character of the Father.

Coming to the four gospel and the Epistles, we see God manifested in the flesh.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

1 John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

We also can ascertain from scriptures that Jesus was the only true and perfect representation of the Father.

A very interesting scenario happened on the mount of transfiguration.

Matthew 17:1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,

17:2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

17:3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

17:4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, THIS IS MY BELOVED SON, IN WHOM I AM WELL PLEASED; HEAR YE HIM.

Here we see one of the most respected prophet and convener of the Old Testament/Covenant also in attendance and a very significant instruction was given.

Again in John 14.

John 14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

We see that integrity of the Father lies in the son, Jesus Christ.

The old testament had so many obscured and dark places but now we see clearly, we have light!

2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

So what do we see of the Father in Christ?

1) HE IS A GOOD GOOD FATHER.

Matthew 7:9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

7:10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

2) HE IS MORE THAN WILLING TO GIVE AND DO FOR US.

He gave his son for us.

1 John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

The story of the leper is also heart warming.

Matthew 8:2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, LORD, IF THOU WILT, THOU CANST MAKE ME CLEAN.

8:3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I WILL; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Again we see His willingness.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

3) HE IS LOVE.

1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

4) HE DOESN’T CONDEMN YOU.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

We also see the case of the adulterous woman.

John 8:3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,

8:4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.

8:5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?

8:6 This they said,
tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.

8:7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

8:8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.

8:9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

8:10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

8:11 She said, No man, Lord. AND JESUS SAID UNTO HER, NEITHER DO I CONDEMN THEE: GO, AND SIN NO MORE.

5) HE DOESN’T DO EVIL NOR DESTROY MEN’S LIVES.

Jesus stated the works of the devil explicitly:

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for TO STEAL, and TO KILL, and TO DESTROY: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

and we know he came to destroy the works of darkness.

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. FOR THIS PURPOSE THE SON OF GOD WAS MANIFESTED, THAT HE MIGHT DESTROY THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL.

The works of darkness also includes Death. He’s doesn’t orchestrate death.

1 Corinthians 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

15:26 THE LAST ENEMY THAT SHALL BE DESTROYED IS DEATH.

He doesn’t put sickness on people. (oh no!) He doesn’t give you infirmities for his glory.

There was no place in the Bible that was recorded that Jesus killed anyone. Despite the persecutions and all. But what we see is:

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

He healed the sick, he raised the dead, the blind saw, the crippled walked… He destroyed the works of darkness.

Something interesting happened in Luke 9.

Luke 9:51 And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,

9:52 And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.

9:53 And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.
9:54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?
9:55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.
9:56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

Woah! He has not come to destroy men’s lives.

James & John must have learnt that from Elijah’s ministry. Here we see Jesus openly rebuking them.

Now we know what manner of spirit we are!

We walk in the light of this!
No more “die by fire” prayers.
We walk in love always.

2018, I hear you are coming…

2018,
I hear you are coming…

You’ve been the trending topic of discussion.
Everyone is loving up on you and saying sweet things about you.
Even my neighbor has paused Her existence for your coming.

2018,
Don’t get too excited.
They did the same thing to your fathers; 2017 & 2016.
They would make such hullabaloo about your child and grandchild too.
And y’all would go to extinction in a twinkle.

Maybe you are special;
Maybe you are not.
Maybe it’s the newness of your number.
Maybe it’s the beginning of the familiar seasonal cycle.
Maybe…

But I know;
You are just another droplet in the ocean of time.
Pregnant with a myriad of opportunities.
I lay whispering my thoughts.
Waiting for “Nepa to bring light”.

A MORE POWERFUL WAY TO LIVE

A MORE POWERFUL WAY TO LIVE

Live ready! Thanks.

Grow360

Living ready is a powerful way to live. Stay sharp.
Keep working on yourself.
It is better to be prepared and you’re not called on than to be called up and found unprepared.
To think outside the box, keep thinking even while you’re in the box.
Your day will come- you will see it and know it because you’ve been preparing for it.
And in that moment, your heart will pound hard against your chest.
You will feel that knot in your stomach.
But it will not come from a place of inadequacy.
Or from the fear of incompetence.
It will be from the humbling realization that this is a moment of destiny.
The moment you’ve built yourself for.
And you will deliver, yes you will.
You will win. Yes you will.
But for today, take the higher way.
Live ready- anything else is too risky.
Live by Design.
